The game "Invest into the Pizza" will teach to identify fraud when making non-cash payments

The Lithuanian Consumer Institute is inviting the youth of the age 12-18 to take part in the game "Invest into the Pizza" the main objective of which is to promote the development of honest business, teach how to recognise fraud when making non-cash payments. The game will continue from 18 January 2012 until 27 February, 5 p.m. (inclusive). 

30 of the best scored participants will be invited to the final event of the game where they will exchange opinions with the specialists of business, finance and consumer protection. The best three will receive valuable prizes: a computer, a digital camera and a portable MP3 player.

The game "Invest into the Pizza" is a part of the project implemented by the Lithuanian Consumer Institute "Increasing the Awareness of Consumers about Fraud in Making Payments in Electronic Payment Means". The project is co-financed by the 2009 Programme on Prevention and Fight against Crime of the European Commission, the Lithuanian Consumer Institute. Project partners: the Police Department and the Association of Lithuanian Banks.
